Looking for an eye care center in Hereford? You’ve come to the right place. At Advanced Eye Care Hereford, we pride ourselves on providing premier optometry services to the Hereford community.

Below, you’ll learn more about the services we offer, as well as why we’re Hereford’s eye care center of choice.

Eye Exams

Eye exams are one of the most frequent services we perform. It’s important to get your eyes checked regularly, as this allows us to detect many ocular problems before they have a serious impact on your vision.

Generally, we recommend yearly check-ups for all of our clients. You may be able to get checkups every other year if your vision is good and you’re not in a high-risk category for problems due to your family history or your medical history.

Glasses and Contact Lenses

Whether you need replacement glasses or you’re getting a pair for the first time, Advanced Eye Care is here for you. We offer a number of different frames and styles, because we believe you should be able to look your best while seeing the world clearly!

Our incredible optical offers the latest in frame styles, colors, and options to fit any face or preference. From trendy plastic frames to rimless, sunglasses to progressive lenses, readers to specialty computer glasses, you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for.

If you are also looking for the option of contact lenses, we also have a variety of different contact lenses for you to choose from. These can help solve a myriad of different vision problems while not requiring you to wear glasses. We have patients who only wear contact lenses for occasional sports outings, young patients who wear daily disposables to minimize the demands of caring for them, those who wear them every day and even those who use contacts to solve their near AND far vision demands, minimizing the need for reading glasses.

Medical Eye Care Services

If glasses and contact lenses aren’t enough to solve the ocular issues you’re facing, we also offer medical and therapeutic services.

Our medical services are tailored to the needs of the individual patient, but they cover a suite of different problems including glaucoma, dry eyes, diabetic retinopathy, eye infections, and macular degeneration. Our staff of experienced doctors can also help with urgent eye care needs, such as a scratched cornea, foreign body (like metal or dirt), red eye, pink eye, styes, etc.

Vision therapy is used to help train your eyes. The ocular habits formed during vision therapy can be used throughout the rest of your life to help maintain comfortable eyesight.

Pediatric Eye Care Services

We understand that it can be difficult to get kids to come to the eye doctor. At the same time, it’s vitally important that they do so. We love to work with our young patients to ensure that they are comfortable and find the eye exam experience to be fun and positive.

In our earliest years, a significant amount of information is imparted visually. If your child is having trouble reading or seeing faces from a distance or focusing at near, this problem can impact their ability to learn.

A lot can be learned about the visual performance and ocular health of a child, even without them being able to choose between “1 and 2.” You can trust our team to uncover and address any issues that your child can’t put into words.

While your child is learning, their eyes are also developing. Advanced Eye Care regularly helps children with their ocular issues, so you can rest easy knowing that we’re great with kids.
